2013: Achievements

My mission statement for 2013:

As a confident and forward-thinking person, I enter into every project (no matter the size) with a mind that’s open to adventure. I believe in myself,  and I am both excited and grateful for every opportunity that I attract into my life.

Acting Career 

  1. Complete my Voice-Over Demo – Completed April
  2. Master a British Accent Completed September 1 (South Yorkshire)
  3. Began studying audition with Jeb Beach – Completed on April
  4. Began studying Voice with Mark Downey – August 2, 2013
  5. Began studying scene study with Ben Ratner — October 27, 2013

Performances

  1. Friends You’d Kill for (Feature) – played the lead role of Tara – Feb 2013
  2. Converse (short improv film): supporting character – March 2013
  3. Foreplay (short play): lead character – March 2013
  4. Made of Stone (play): played the role of Carol – October 1-12, 2013

Writing 

  1. 50 followers on my blog – (Completed: January 19, 2013)
  2. Started writing for Examiner.com – Completed on April. 20
  3. Got a job as an assistant editor at myyogaonline.com — Completed: July 16, 2013
  4. Got a job writing for Cella Magazine (wrote 2 articles for them) – September 2013
  5. 100 followers on my blog – (Completed: July 18, 2013)

Fitness / Health 

  1. Run the BMO 1/2 marathon  – Completed on May.5 in 1.56.38)
  2. 28 day white sugar detox (no sweets for 28 days starting Dec. 30) – Completed on January.26
  3. First appearance in a work-out video (yoga) – Completed November.25, 2013
